Yeesss to making pokemon dolls for other people. This one was a commission. I went with a fully furred body to make it look real. Hope you like!

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new to Lj. Hope I am doing this correctly. This is one of my current in-progress pieces. A crochet scarf featuring the TARDIS from Dr. Who.

My first time to post here. Hope I did it right!

This is a polymer clay figure of Gandalf that I recently built; I thought it would be fun to document the process and make a tutorial for anyone else who would like to give it a try.

The tutorial is posted here at lotr_community as part of the January Potluck Challenge: "How to Make Gandalf the Grey"

Here are a few other polymer LotR projects I've made:Read more...Collapse )

Both the last two were based on this

But would one of you guys know where a friend of mine can find a free pattern for a Dean Winchester amigurumi?

I don't crochet or knit, I know she crochets....so it'd need to be crochet. I honestly don't have any idea what I'm looking for, but since I make my own cross stitch patterns, she thought I was the person to ask, lol.

Thanks in advance for any help you might can give~~

You notice how I can never resist making pokemon? I can't help it, they have such fun designs! And I got a lot of respect for Manectric after mine carried me through AS. Go Henriette!

(although somehow I think this one is a guy. Don't ask. Sometimes they just tell me what they are. You know how it is when you make stuff?)

Anyway, I decided to try out two new things for this one. First was needle felting, since I thought it'd make the spiky shaped body easier. Second was an articulated jaw. I think next time I'll put the hinge a bit further back, kind of like it is in a real animal, but it didn't come out too bad.
