Little felt authors: 16th and 19th century
</a>
First, the Bard of Avon himself!

It's a bit hidden with the white background, but he is holding a tiny feather quill smudged in ink.

Next, Christopher Marlowe.

His fancy Elizabethan sleeves. :)

Lesser known, but equally lovely, the talented Countess Amalia de Vilches.
(I'm sorry, but I can't figure out why Imageshack is cropping the bottom of her photo. :()

Back view of her beautiful dress.

A young Jane Austen?

Her new owner requested the doll had her ring as well.

=) Hope you liked seeing them!

These are all precious, as always, but I can see you're making progress and getting even better with time.

Marlowe's outfit is amazing! And I love the ring!

Completely charming.

=D You're the third one to specifically mention that detail. In my head all fashionable men in that period wore them, so I couldn't let it pass.

It seems that your stitching has gotten much neater and tighter -- and it was neat and tight to begin with! :D

LOL You'll soon change your mind about that! I embroidered the second Doctor's of my Doctor Who Project pants in what was supposed to be a tartan pattern. Keyword? "Supposed"... =D
